I started writing again at the end of last year and am now challenging myself to new things. I saw the challenge in
Halfamoon and wanted to tackle it. 14 pieces and 14 different characters certainly wasn't easy but it was very interesting! Made me go back to some really old stuff and also write new stories I never would've considered. Plus really push me to actually sit down and finish so many drafts (and have the courage to publish them). I really liked Half a Moon and its focus on female characters.
So here's the roundup (you can also check the series here)!Day 1 - The Innocent Title: A dreamer (who takes a while to get it right)

Characters: Judy Hopps/Nick Wilde, Juddy and her family
Rating: T
Summary: Judy Hopps always knew what she wanted. Since childhood, she wanted to be a cop and no other profession would do. And now, as an adult, she knew the only partner she could ever want was Nick. No one else would do.

Day 2 - Guilty Pleasures Title: Heroism can wait another day

Characters: Sayaka Miki focused, with Sayaka/Kyouko

Summary: Sayaka is going to end this charade and Homura’s little play. Tomorrow, she will do it.
Post-Rebellion, in which Miki (attempts to) right wrongs and ends up procrastinating (just a little bit).

Rating: T for body dysphoria, surgery mentions and medicine.
Summary: Life and beauty can be paid for. In fact, it’s much easier to live if you have either money or health. Pinoko and Black Jack have neither. Nor can their bodies be “fixed” so easily. And Pinoko will never be a woman, in body.

Characters: Tsumugi Shirogane centered + featuring the rest of the cast
Rating: T
Summary: There are some really awful dehumanizing shows out there. Thank God Danganronpa™ isn’t one of them. It’s the best of the best and therefore they need the best cast as well. Or Tsumugi's long audition day.
This was an already written piece that really fit with the theme. This story is set in an AU that assumes certain end game revelations are true.

Characters: Helga Pataki centric + her relationship with Arnold, her family and female friendships

Summary: “There’s nothing wrong with being passionate. You just need to… spread it. To different areas in your life, and people. That way, you can share your love with many people.”
Doctor Bliss and her ideas... but sure, Helga decides to give it a try. And realizes there are indeed many different types of love in life.

Summary: It’s only when she is wearing a mask that she can look at her reflection. Anything but Kitajima Maya is good enough.

Fandom: Naruto
Characters: Kushina Uzumaki/Namikaze Minato
Rating: Gen
Summary: If someone were to tell the young Kushina who recently arrived at Konohagakure, that her son would be named after food — one of her favorites, to be fair — and after a book from a sketchy writer at best, that someone best grit their teeth because a punch was soon to follow. Or: Kushina dealing with Kyuubi being difficult and Minato is there for her.

Characters: Iemitsu Tokugawa centered, Arikoto and Kasuga

Summary: So she’s just like this horse. Existing solely for the sake of breeding and unable to even choose her mate. Iemitsu reflects on her life and what it means to be shogun - even if not by choice.

Fandom: Inuyasha
Characters: Kagome/Inuyasha
Rating: Gen
Summary: Home is where the heart is, so they say. Then what about Kagome, who had two homes, separated across time. Never to return to one?
Or Kagome feels homesick.

This was so much fun, thank you for the challenge! It's the first one I ever fully completed and it motivated me to go back to drafts and pieces I gave up on (some from over a decade ago)! Loved the experience and looking to join again next year!
